How I got here, in order — the experiences, projects, and milestones that shaped my path through school, research, and engineering.

  1. Feb 2026 – Present·Project

    GoFundMI.org, Non-Profit

    Collaborating with Curtis Ling (MaxLinear founder & CTO) to build a non-profit platform connecting student researchers to funding and enabling donors direct access to university research.

  2. Jan 2026 – Present·Work

    Founder & Electrical Lead, U-M Vertical Flight

    Founded a multidisciplinary eVTOL design team competing in Vertical Flight Society design-build-fly competitions. Leading electrical systems design: power distribution, flight controllers, and sensor integration (LiDAR, thermal). Secured $20k+ in funding.

  3. Sep 2025 – Present·Project

    Summa-Fi, Financial Platform

    Building a secure, self-hosted financial platform in Python and React that classifies transactions automatically, with the Plaid API and PostgreSQL behind it. It cut my manual accounting work by about 70%.

  4. Aug 2025 – Present·Research

    Research Assistant, U-M Magnetometer Laboratory

    Developing Random Forest ML models achieving 80% recall for geomagnetic storm prediction. Analyzing 20 years of magnetometer data and co-authoring a research publication. Calibrating a Helmholtz Coil apparatus for RM3100 sensor testing.

  5. Aug 2025 – Present·Education

    University of Michigan, Computer Engineering

    Enrolled in BSE Computer Engineering at the University of Michigan. 4.0 GPA. Martin & Ellen Chavez Scholarship. Dean's List. Coursework: Programming and Data Structures, Electrical Circuits, Solid Mechanics.

  6. Aug 2024 – Jun 2025·Leadership

    Vice President, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society

    Orchestrated 5+ large-scale events for a 400-member honor society at Montgomery College, increasing member engagement and representing the chapter at regional conferences.

  7. May 2024 – Jun 2025·Work

    Math Instructor, Mathnasium

    Taught AP Calculus and Physics prep with personalized learning plans; 90% of my students scored a 4 or higher. Coached SAT Math students to average gains of more than 100 points.

  8. Dec 2023 – Jun 2024·Leadership

    Treasurer, Student Government Association

    Administered a $40,000 annual budget for 40+ student organizations at Montgomery College; approved $28,000+ in resource allocations through weekly proposal hearings.

  9. Sep 2023 – May 2025·Education

    Montgomery College, General Engineering

    Earned an Associate of Science in General Engineering from Montgomery College. GPA: 3.7/4.0.
